He studied at the University of Michigan with Lynne Aspnes and at the Camden Harp Colony with Alice Chalifoux. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree and is a professor at Missouri State. In addition to this, he has extensive training in Suzuki Harp teaching.
